Benefits:
COLD-PRESSED JOJOBA OIL
Deeply-Hydrating and Moisturising
It is lighter than other oils and easily absorbed into skin. It deeply penetrates to soothe and soften while providing an excellent moisturising effect. It doesn’t evaporate, which is very important when your skin and nails are exposed to the environment. Studies have shown that Jojoba Oil provides a substantial long-acting layer of moisture.
Nutrition for Skin and Nails
Jojoba is full of nutrients like Vitamin E and B, as well as antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish and protect skin. Organic, cold-pressed, Jojoba Oil has the highest level of antioxidants and nutrients.
Easy, Not Greasy
Because Jojoba Oil is very similar to our own skin oils, it immediately penetrates skin and smooths easily, helping to promote healthy, glowing skin without clogging pores or leaving a greasy residue.
Soothes Dry Skin
Jojoba Oil has anti-inflammatory properties which help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba Oil help in skin repair and damage control.
Anti–Microbial
Jojoba Oil naturally deters microbes, helping to prevent the growth of bacteria on skin. This property provides an added wound-healing benefit. Bonus: Jojoba Oil acts as a natural preservative.
APRICOT KERNEL OIL
Moisturiser
Oleic and linoleic acids in the oil can work wonders in different ways. Apricot oil is easily absorbed into the skin and acts as an occlusive agent that blocks the loss of moisture from your skin. It is also an emollient that can soften your skin – and that too without that greasy texture that most of us loathe. Apricot oil also contains vitamin E, which can enhance the ability of the skin to absorb and hold water, therefore improving skin hydration.
Protects Against Effects of Pollution
Our skin is constantly exposed to air pollution and smog. Research indicates that vitamin E in apricot oil could have a beneficial effect. One animal study found that the topical application of vitamin E protected the skin of mice from oxidative damage caused by exposure to ozone present in smog. So it makes sense to fortify your skin with a little vitamin E-rich apricot oil before you head out for the day.
Helps Ease Eczema
Apricot oil is often used for its soothing effect to treat eczema.
Interestingly, research has found that a phytosterol known as β-sitosterol, which is the main sterol present in apricot oil, might have a beneficial effect on eczema.
MACADMIA NUT OIL
Other than jojoba oil, it’s the closest match to the naturally occurring sebum of the skin. It is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic oil. It contains squalene and oleic acid that assists with cell regeneration, making this oil particularly useful for dry or chapped skin as it softens and moisturizes.
It contains omega 6 linoleic acid which is useful for balancing sebum production in oily skin and creates a natural protective barrier. The shell in which it is housed and added to the oil is rich in naturally occurring vitamin E.
Oils extracted from macadamia contain omega 7 or palmitoleic acid, which is beneficial for wound healing, wounds, scratches and burns. It contains phytosterols that assist with itchiness and redness.
It’s highly emollient oil, yet light and penetrating that’s excellent for dry and mature skins that have a reduced production of natural sebum. It has excellent spreadability, lubrication and penetration properties that imparts a smooth non greasy after effect.
The high amount of palmitoleic acid is the main reason. As in elderly, the palmitoleic acid is decreased. The skin then starts to lose its taut and firm appearance. Macadamia oil can restore the lost palmitoleic acid. Hence the skin will repair their firmness and keep a youthful look.
It moisturises the skin. It helps to maintain the water and oxygen content of the skin. Therefore, the skin can keep nourished and well protected. Furthermore, it will avoid dry skin and supply the skin with enough of vitamin E. As we know that there are some health benefits of vitamin E.
The oil can also help with the relief of itchiness of an inflamed skin. It helps to soothe irritated skin and bring a fast recovery for the injured skin. Furthermore, it can prevent inflammation such as dermatitis ache due to infection of virus or bacteria.
SHEA OIL
The healing and moisturizing properties of shea oil make an excellent topical treatment for eczema. It can be applied liberally to the affected area daily. The anti-inflammatory properties provide needed relief and the nutrients in shea oil help promote healthy skin cell re-growth.
The collagen boosting properties of shea oil also make it an excellent product to help reduce the appearance of aging. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen, and the skin loses some of its elasticity resulting in wrinkly skin.
The moisturising effects of shea make it the perfect moisturiser, especially if you need deep moisturising. It provides a protective layer to the skin and prevents the affected areas from becoming inflamed.
Shea is emollient, which means it can soften or soothe the skin, and can be used to heal chapped skin. The emollient properties of shea oil act as a protective barrier by supplying and retaining moisture in the nails and skin.
